
PROTEIN CHEESE CARBONARA

A protein twist on the classic carbonara recipe! This fresh and cheesy take on the beloved Italian dish promises to tantalise your taste buds with its creamy texture and savoury flavours. Pasta coated in a protein packed cheesy sauce made from milk and Eatlean Protein Cheese is sure to become a favourite in your kitchen!
Ingredients
100g Spaghetti pasta
150g Eatlean Grated Original Cheese
160g Bacon lardons
50g Plain flour
350ml Milk
40g Unsalted butter
1tsp Garlic powder
Black pepper

Method
1. Add the pasta to boil at a medium temperature before adding the bacon lardons to a pan on a low heat.
2. In a sauce pan, add butter, milk and flour and continuously mix until the butter has melted.
3. Add in the Eatlean Grated Cheese, garlic powder and a sprinkle of black pepper.
4. Once the pasta is cooked add it to the pan with bacon lardons and a small amount of pasta water before adding the sauce on top.
5. Optional – Season with a small amount of additional black pepper and finely grated Eatlean Cheese for extra protein!
